On October 24, 2026, IAMA, in collaboration with HanOpera Music Academy, welcomed Dr. Mark Tempesta for a vocal masterclass featuring five selected singers at different stages of their musical development.
Throughout the evening, Dr. Tempesta provided individualized guidance on breath coordination, high notes, and achieving greater ease and freedom in singing. Students demonstrated noticeable improvements during their sessions, giving everyone in attendance an opportunity to hear how thoughtful, targeted instruction can make a difference.
Drawing on his expertise in vocal pedagogy, Dr. Tempesta connected vocal science with practical teaching strategies tailored to each singer. The experience offered valuable insights not only to the participating students, but also to the teachers, families, and community members who attended.
This masterclass reflects IAMA’s ongoing commitment to making high-quality music education and professional guidance more accessible to our community.
