A nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing arts education, cultural exchange, community engagement, and artistic excellence through music and the arts.

Who We Are

Founded in July 2022, the International Association of Music and Arts (IAMA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing artistic excellence, arts education, cultural exchange, and community engagement through music and the arts.


Based in Texas and serving communities internationally, IAMA provides meaningful opportunities for children, youth, adults, and emerging artists to learn, perform, connect, and grow.

501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization

IAMA is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Founded in July 2022, IAMA received official tax-exempt status approval from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in May 2023.


As a nonprofit organization, IAMA is committed to responsible stewardship, transparency, community service, arts education, and creating meaningful opportunities through music and the arts. Contributions may be tax-deductible as permitted by law.

Johann Tse is a business leader, amateur singer, and long-time arts advocate dedicated to promoting choral music and community-based cultural engagement.

Johann Tse is a business leader, amateur singer, and long-time arts advocate dedicated to promoting choral music and community-based cultural engagement. He has been a member of the Great Land Choral Society for over 20 years and has served as its President or Chairman of the Board for more than 15 years, helping guide its artistic development, performances, and outreach. He recently joined other volunteer parents to help transform The Dallas Symphony Children’s Chorus into an independent 501(c)(3) organization for sustainable music education. Beyond music, Mr. Tse is Founder and CEO of Aquarian Capital and has broad international experience in corporate development, M&A, capital markets, and operating companies. Through service, music, and leadership, he connects people, cultures, and communities meaningfully.

Dr. Yixuan Han is an educator, performer, and arts advocate dedicated to fostering artistic excellence and expanding access to music education. As the Founder of HanOpera Music Academy and Artistic Director of the International Association of Music & Arts (IAMA), she has helped students gain admission to prestigious institutions including Harvard University, MIT, The Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, Peabody Institute, UNT, and UT Austin. Through education, performance, and community engagement, Dr. Han works to create meaningful opportunities that connect people through music and the arts.

Victoria Shi serves as Vice President and Treasurer of the International Association of Music and Arts (IAMA). She holds a Master’s degree in International Business Administration from Tilburg University, the Netherlands. As a young entrepreneur specializing in international trade, she is actively engaged in import and export business and is passionate about fostering cultural exchange and international collaboration. Through her role at IAMA, she is committed to supporting artistic excellence and creating opportunities for global engagement in music and the arts.

Ms. Helen Chia is a Chinese-Malaysian business executive, entrepreneur, arts supporter, and professionally trained soprano.

Ms. Helen Chia is a Chinese-Malaysian business executive, entrepreneur, and Founder and President of Apollo Realty Incorporated. Holding degrees from the Malaysian Institute of Art and the University of North Texas, Helen seamlessly bridges the worlds of corporate leadership and creative vision. Over the past 30 years, she has been deeply engaged with various profit and non-profit art organizations across both Malaysia and the United States. A multi-talented leader and professionally trained soprano, Helen’s musical highlights include singing with the National Choir of Malaysia and hosting the prestigious salon concert for the College of Music at the University of North Texas. Deeply committed to arts education and community service, she has also served as a committee parent volunteer for both the Texas Youth Chorale and the North Texas Metroplex Children's Choir. This unique blend of executive acumen, artistic discipline, and community leadership grants her a truly global, innovative perspective in the real estate industry.

Tom Tang serves as Vice President of the International Association of Music and Arts, where he is dedicated to promoting cultural enrichment and supporting artistic excellence within the community. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Computer Science. With professional experience spanning engineering, business, and real estate—and currently serving as a real estate broker—he brings strong leadership, vision, and a commitment to advancing the arts.

A passionate music enthusiast and longtime choir member, Tom is deeply engaged in artistic expression. He is also an advocate for Tai Chi, promoting its cultural significance and the harmony of mind and body. Through his contributions to both the arts and wellness, Tom continues to inspire and connect the community.

Weina Wang
Vice President

Weina Wang

Ms. Weina Wang is a management professional and community leader with over two decades of experience in human resources and leadership development.

Ms. Weina Wang holds a master's degree in human resources management and has been a management professional for over two decades. Outside of work, she is committed to contributing back to the community and growing talents. She was previously the chair of "Chinese Employee at Microsoft", which had over ~2000 active members. She has also been the speaker and planner for various community events that promote personal growth, professional networking, leadership, entrepreneurship, physical and mental well-being, etc.

Ms. Wang lives with her husband and two sons in Dallas, TX. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, food, music, and movies.
